Now in its sixth decade of operation, the Amon Carter Museum of American Art strives to connect visitors with spectacular pieces of American art through exhibitions, programs, and publications. The Amon Carter houses about 200,000 works of art in addition to a library accommodating 50,000 books. Admission is always free.
